HALL OF FAME DINNER
Sunday, June 11th, 2023
The Hall of Fame Dinner, presented by Furniture Fair, is part of our biggest fundraiser of the year! It includes a silent auction, and an impactful program celebrating our Scholarship Fund recipients and Jim Semon Award Winner. At the event, attendees will hear their inspirational stories of overcoming adversity and get an inside peek into the programs that help us carry out our mission.
PRESENTED BY:
Founded in Erlanger Kentucky in 1963 by Robert “Bob” Daniels, the company was named Furniture Fair to reflect his belief in offering quality home furnishings at fair prices with exemplary service-values that still hold true today. As a family run business, with a passion for people, Furniture Fair and the Anthony Muñoz Foundation have always aligned in the desire to play an active role in bettering our communities.
It was in 2002 that these two companies came together. Since then, Furniture Fair has played an integral role in the 50,000+ kids the Anthony Muñoz Foundation has impacted over the last 21 years. It is at the Hall of Fame Dinner, which Furniture Fair has sponsored through the past decade, that the Foundation has been able to award over $1 million dollars in scholarships to over 100 Tri-State area students. An impact this great can’t be done alone. The Daniels family’s continued support and belief in the Anthony Muñoz Foundation’s mission has changed the lives of many.
Jim & Cheryl Semon Impact Award

During each Hall of Fame Dinner, Anthony has the honor of presenting the Jim & Cheryl Semon Impact Award to a deserving member of the community who supports the mission and values of the Foundation and is dedicated to impacting the lives of youth. The winner of this award epitomizes all that Jim and Cheryl meant to the life of Anthony. When Anthony was six years old, Jim, then the Director of Parks and Recreation in Ontario, California and his wife Cheryl, gave Anthony his first baseball glove. Little did they know, at the time he was giving so much more to Anthony. Not having a solid role model, Anthony looked up to Jim. Ultimately, Jim became Anthony’s high school baseball coach and he and Cheryl continued to provide the guidance he needed to succeed in life. After Cheryl passed in 2021, the award’s name was changed to honor her memory as well as Jim.
Congratulations to our 2022 Jim & Cheryl Semon Impact Award Recipient!
