Hey guys, Mya here! With Youth Leadership Seminar right around the corner, I wanted to share a little about what students will be a part of at our biggest event of the year!
This year’s theme is Blueprint. Our goal is for each student to leave with the steps to create their own unique ‘Blueprint’ for success. At the Seminar students will:
- identify positive leadership traits in order to build a foundation for success
- discuss overcoming barriers they may face as they plan for the future
- hear from speakers including Damian Hoskins of Artswave, Dr. Chris Tuell of Lindner Center of HOPE, James Buss of Northern Kentucky University, and Daniel Katz of No Cow. They’ll be discussing a range of relatable adversities and topics to empower and encourage students to become their best selves.
- participate in breakout sessions that will give them the platform to self-reflect, discuss meaningful issues, and put into place after-event action plans.
Since the event started in 2002, we have reached over 15,000 Tri-State students. This year there are over 1,000 students and over 80 schools attending, with almost half of the registered schools having attended at least 10 years! We are so excited to see what empowering advice our students walk away with at Blueprint Cincy.
